Catusaddhā — The Power of the Four Faiths Four mice, the faithful mounts of Lord Ganesha, unite to present their offerings — together embodying the four faiths that hold a life complete. 1. Faith of Wisdom — trust in insight, in the right beginning, and in mindful decisions, offered to Ganesha, the lord of wisdom. 2. Faith of Success — the steadfast will to overcome every obstacle and reach the goal, as the four mice labour as one. 3. Faith of Fortune — an openness to wealth, opportunity, and prosperity, as the modaka sweet signifies the fruit of abundance. 4. Faith of Abundance — fullness in life, family, work, and wealth, as flowers and offerings signify auspicious growth.
